Positano is located on the Amalfi Coast, 55 Km from Naples.
By plane:
Land at Capodichino International Airport of Naples. From here you could
take a taxi to Positano or a bus to Sorrento.
By train:
From Naples “Stazione Centrale” you can reach Positano
by taxi or by the small train (“Circumvesuviana”) to Sorrento.
From here you could take a bus to Positano/Amalfi or a taxi.
By car:
FROM NAPLES
Follow the signs "SALERNO A3" and be careful not to take the
turning into the Naples centre. Pass through the pay-booth and proceed
on this motorway. After the POMPEI exit leave the motorway at the next
CASTELLAMMARE exit. Follow the signs to SORRENTO and the coast road SS163
to POSITANO and Amalfi.
FROM ROME
Take the highway "A1" and drive all the way to Naples. After
the CASERTA SUD exit follow the green signs "SALERNO A3".
Be careful not to take the turning into the Naples centre. Follow the
motorway "SALERNO A3", pass the POMPEI exit and leave the motorway
at the next CASTELLAMARE exit. Follow the signs to SORRENTO and the coast
road SS163 to POSITANO and Amalfi.
By boat :
Water taxis reach Positano only during the summer months. They leave
from Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Salerno.
