Fabulous location with a great room. It was very Italian in style and was an easy walk down to the beach. The staff were very friendly and very helpful with all our enquiries. We will be back!”

I have spent some memorable days in this beautiful hotel in Positano in July. Just perfect on every point of view: position (just 10 mins waling to the beach), rooms (spacious indeed), very clean, good and rich breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff (every night a different useful tip) and the view… A wonder to my eyes. For sure I will back there next time.

Again this year we stayed in week 42 in October 2012 at this wonderful hotel.
We wrote last year: “This is a magnificent stay to stay. The hotel has very nice an d spacy balconies overlooking the beautiful bay of Positano. The breakfast and the service there is outstanding.
We proposed that the Wi-Fi was expanded to cover all rooms”.
And what happened – it now all over. Fantastic customer orientation.
And the reception is very helpfull in the efforts to get my lost suitcase to join our holiday
So all the best score to you!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Reginella this past August for our Honeymoon. We stayed for 10 nights and it was absolutely amazing. Tony, the owner was a wonderful host- providing us with tips on sight-seeing and restaurant recommendations. Tony’s wife and son also worked at the hotel and were just as accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and had a nice Mediterranean charm to it and the view was breathtaking. The bathroom was also clean and spacious- room cleaned daily. The hotel was within walking distance (5 minutes) to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. We were able to do excursions to Capri and down the Amalfi Coast from the beach from Spiaggo beach- and were able to catch a bus down the street to go to Pompeii. I recommend this hotel without reservation and would stay here again!!!

We stayed here for 3 days. The hotel was very nice and clean. Good location. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with anything we needed e.g. directions, restaurant recommendations, our day trips.. We had to check out really early on our last day and we were surprised when the owner said that they will open the breakfast room for us (an hour earlier than usual) so that we can have something to eat before we leave. Thank you for personalising our stay Your staff is wonderful!

I and my parents stayed at the hotel for 12 days in August and it was the most fabulous vacation we ever had. The room was nice and cozy, the view from the balcony was fantastic. The hotel’s staff was very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. I’d like to thank Tony, hotel’s owner, and the rest of the hotel’s staff for being so nice to us. Good luck, guys!!!
For those who plan to visit Positano I would say that you absolutely need to stay at Reginella hotel, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed here for two nights in July 2012. The owner is so friendly, attentive and not overbearing. The hotel is perfectly situated on the hillside, with excellent views of the beach and sea below. Although a long walk back up the stairs from the beach it is totally worth it!
Our room was the most open and brightest of all of our hotels in Europe. It truly felt like we were in our own studio overlooking the water, with high ceilings and open deck, it was incredible.
A must stay and we will be back!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights mid July as a group of 3 girls. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tony who was very friendly and welcoming, along with all staff members we encountered who were only to happy to meet your request. Our room provided the most amazing views from the balcony where we sat with a glass of wine from late afternoon until we went out for dinner admiring that spectular view. The main beach was about a 10 minute walk down the winding road which was aligned with shops to admire along the way. The room was large, clean and offered great air conditioning. The bathroom was also large and had a gorgeous little picture window with a view of Positano from your shower. Breakfast was good and we were greeted by the friendly waitress with nice coffee to start our day. The room didn’t offer a mini-bar but there was a small bar at reception which provided cold drinks and ice. The hotel is very close to a number of restaurants that offer the best views of Positano whilst dining. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay and with views you will never forget or want to leave your room for that matter! I would highly recommend staying here and hopefully one day I can come back to the Hotel Reginella.

What a lovely experience from start to finish, the owner introduced himself as Tony when we arrived, he was extremely helpful & so friendly- after he delivered the bags to the room he also delivered some prosseco as he saw on my passport it was my 30th birthday which we enjoyed on the balcony, which had spectacular views- what a lovely personal touch! The rooms were very traditionally decorated & well kept, also beautifully clean. Great value for money & I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We have just had 2 really great nights at the Hotel Reginella. What a great place to stay. We arrived by car and were able to pull up in the small reserved area in front of the hotel. The owner greeted us and arranged straight away for the car to be collected and parked in secure parking (22 euros per night). We were shown to our room and I was delighted when he opened the balcony to show us the view, stunning. The room had been recently decorated and the bathroom was clean, spacious and had a double shower!I had been worried that it might be noisy as the hotel is on the road but the double glazed balcony doors excluded all sounds so there was no problem at all.The hotel is opposite a set of steps that lead down to the beach. There are 369 of them! so going down was fine. We did however amble back up the road past all the shops. There are a number of really nice restaurants within 50 to 100 metres of the hotel. They have terraced areas looking out over the bay. We just walked over earlier in the day and booked a table with a view.Having walked up the hill after a day in Positano it was a delight to have drinks on our balcony watching the boats in the bay. Perfect. Thanks to all the staff and the owner Toni for making this a great place to stay. Loved it.

We made a reservation "in our price range" and hoped for the best. We GOT the best! Charming and totally renovated, we loved everything about it. Two large rooms with THE view of Positano, the bathrooms were "designer" Italian tile and truly stunning, the little breakfast room is elegant and Theresa made it more delightful. The central location is perfect for all destinations and Tony and family most warm, gracious.and accommodating..The US restaurant commercial says , "When you're here, you're family." This absolutely goes for The Reginella, we all hugged goodbye and would LOVE to return.

We had the pleasure of staying here in May 2012. Tony the owner is so nice, he gave us great recommendations on where to go, where to eat, he and his staff are very nice. The view from our room was beautiful. The room was clean and the location was close to the beach and wonderful shopping. We would stay here again!

La Reginella is a fantastic and magical place! The staff are absolutely amazing, they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area and their recommendations for restaurants and activities never failed. The view from the upper floor is spectacular and the balcony is great to have afternoon drinks on. The location of the hotel is advantageous with an easy walk from the hotel to the beach via the road or for the more energetic via the picturesque stair case. Positano is everything you could hope for in a small Italian seaside village and the locals are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend La Reginela to anyone wishing to travel to Positano!!! It was fantastic!

I’m writing this from Rome,Italy in the middle of a wonderful trip tp Italy. Usually I’d wait till my return home before sending in a review but just had to share our wonderful experience in Positano and specifically at the Hotel Reginella. We were there with a small tour group with Nadas Italy Tours. We stayed in room 21 which had a great double bed as well as a sofa that could be used as a bed as well. The room was spotless and perfectly maintained. The shining tile floors amazing and the view on or terrace breathtaking. I could have just spent the whole week on that terrace watching the sea and the picturesque village spread out before me. At night we would leave the windows and shutters open so we could listen to the music filtering up tge mountain from the seaside below. As for specifics: Small beautiful property on the hillside looking down on the Piazza ans beach; the owner Tony was friendly and eager to help as were all his helpers; wonderful service and English speaking; rooms large with great bathrooms; air conditioning though with the beautiful sea breezes we seldom need to use it; small bar with all day; nice continental breakfast with fresh baked goodies daily and wonderful service; porterage-especially helpful as no elevator. Easy walk downhill to village and beach. CONS:No elevator,Tough walk uphill from beach and town. Obviously this is a place we loved and can’t recommend nore highly.

Everything about the hotel was very very good. It's very easy to find as everyone in Positano knows it and it's located on the main street. Signor Tony and his wife were very helpful and gave us clear directions and suggestions. Our room was a very nice size and clean. The views from the rooms are incredible to say the least. Definitely worth walking the stairs to the beach. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Reginella. Breakfast is very good and they will set you up with a tray if you would like to take it to your room to eat on your balcony. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is stunning overlooking the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff was as helpful as they could be, and very gracious. Positano is a very hilly town and the location of this hotel was great…not too far up the hill! If we ever get back to this area, we will stay here.

We just completed a three week trip to Italy….I wish I had started here….I might not have ever left. Tony, the owner, and his son Enzo were great….Made us feel like we were visiting relatives. The view from our balcony was as it good as it gets anywhere. This hotel is living proof that the “Star” rating system is a bunch of BS. This hotel was rated 2-Star but I will take it any day over the three and four star hotels we stayed in all over Italy. Bravo Tony & Enzo!!!

We have visited Positano frequently, but this is our first time to stay overnight. We chose Hotel Reginella for the price…very reasonible for a family of four. The staff greeted us with a smile and quickly set about setting up the transfer of our car to a local parking garage. We gladly paid the E22 for the overnight parking. Our luggage was taken to our room for us. This was a wonderful help for us since we were on the 3rd floor…4th by American standards. Our balcony gave us a breathtaking view of the town of Positano and the sea! The furnishing were lovely and the bathroom large and comfortable by European standards. Location is great with restaurants near by. My husband and I are definitely returning for a weekend away!
