The history of the Hotel Reginella seems to have come straight out of the pages of a great European novel. The villa, originally built as a noble residence, became the home of a charming 19th-century noblewoman, Reginella, who chose Positano as her spiritual home, where she spent the most unforgettable moments of her life.
The villa became famous and was transformed into an essential destination for artists and poets staying on the Amalfi Coast. The protagonist, after whom the "Punta Reginella" district where the hotel is located is named, was mentioned in one of the great masterpieces of Neapolitan music, with the unforgettable verses of Libero Bovio and the delicate waltz by Gaetano Lama. "Reginella", a song and a place that capture the heart.
